Sushant advises founders, business owners, and fund managers on the decisions that shape their companies: formation, financing, commercial contracts, and the corporate structures underneath all of it. His practice spans traditional and emerging industries, with particular depth in venture-backed companies and private funds. Sushant built his practice at the intersection of law and operations: years as a litigator, then as general counsel to tech startups, and as an operating partner and fund manager for a venture portfolio. He has integrated legal functions across portfolio companies, managed risk and compliance, and guided companies through fundraising and expansion. That path shapes how he practices — clients get actionable advice, not just an analytical memo.
Aditi Majawadia
Aditi advises on corporate transactions, fund formation, intellectual property, commercial contracts, and data privacy. Her work centers on the decisions that shape a company's legal foundation — how it's structured, how ownership is documented, and how it protects what it builds as it grows. She has taken founders through multi-state acquisitions, built fund platforms for multi-portfolio sponsors, and structured IP transactions that required more than a standard form could deliver. Her contracts and data privacy work spans US and UK frameworks — particularly for technology companies managing cross-border data obligations. Before joining Align Counsel, Aditi practiced across the Gulf region, the United Kingdom, and South Asia — advising sovereign wealth funds, semi-governmental institutions, and leading corporate groups on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, and financing arrangements across multiple jurisdictions.
